The meeting came to order at 7.30 PM all members of the
Board befug present.-
Warrant NO'. 46, totalling $12,89~.~6 was presented b~'Town
Acct. Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes 'of the .previous meeting were read And Approved.
An applicabion was received from Simon Kaufman dba The Green
Coffee Pot for a renewal of his all alcoholic, Common Vict..
license and it was voted that this application take the course
prescribed by law. -- ~
~. stanley Whelden was granted'a permit~ t~ open Fair. street
near Father subject to approval of the Supt.~of street.s.
A' communication was received from the Se6y; of State with~
reference to the census which ~st be taken the first part,
of 19~5, it was Voted to have the Secy. check with the Town
Clerk on this matter. ~
A questi0u~ of. funds ~vailable to bulldoze sa~d at the children
beach was raised and it was voted to have the Secy. d~te~mine
any available funds from the town Acct.,
It was ~oted' to h~ve various town ~officials ~e~t with us afte~
our regualr meeting next week to discus~ with us and
Leske~the local Civil-defense~di~ector .~a~ious matters with
'reference to civilian defense.
A re~oort' Was received of a dog of one Gerald Stanley on~
W. York Street molestiugpeople and this matter was referred
to the Dog'Office and Chief of Police' ,
A~',Communicati0n was 'receive~ from Rep. Ba~rnes that any Bili~s
should be ~ in his hands before l'Dec. 1904. .~. ~.
· The Board discu'~'sed~ the' additional ~approp~'iatiou necessary
to install'the new flagpole at siasconset but' no action
~was,taken at this time. ~'-' ~,
It was pointed out~that~a wiu~ow a't the ,term bldg. is in
need of. a new Frame but that the br0wnstown header is craked
which might cause' tAe~jo.b to run to considerable expense; A
contractor is to be*contacted to take care of this matter.
The~.e~' being no further business the meeting adjourned at
