A letter was received' f~om the chambem of C0~e~ce thanking
the Board fo~ its cooperation in the AOPA tou~. ~
Shellfish Wa~den Winslow was p~esent and 'discusBed wibh the '
Board the Co~e~cial Shellfish ~egulations fo~ ~e taking
scallops fo~ the approaching _season, ~e Board went ove~ the
regulations 'as amended last year and~felt t~t sam6 would~
be 0K with~e addition ~t all'bags' should' be tied. N0 action
was taken until a late~ date due to the absence of, Mr. Pease
and ~. ~ Bu~ge s s ....
A s~ggesti0ns ,of Robert Cu~rie that old',snow fence be used~at
the jetties beach to t~ap fine sand f~om blowing away.~ in'-the
winter,~ was discussed but ~in~view of-the recent hurricanes~
it was stated that we~ ~ve no'old fence available and no
appropriation to purchase any. ~ -~ ~,,
