The ballots in three sealed packages .said to 'contain :~108 Republican ~and:
793 Democratic Ballots were delivered to the Ballot Clerk~ and their receipt

The ballot box and emergency ballot box were then 0pend for inspection. They
were examined by Charles Ca' :Chadwick, Seddon W.' Legg, Charles Clark Coffin
and Franklin H. Thurston and fouud to be empty. The register on the ballot
box mm~x was set at 0000. Both boxes were locked and the keys turned over to
Charles C. Chadv~lck, Constable in. charge~. ~ ~ - .... ~'
Constable H0wes Presented the Warraut for the State Primary to the Town Clerk.
The Warrant was then read by the Town Clerk. Upon motion, dtdy seconded it
VOTED that the polls close at 5:00 P.M..~ ;~ At 7;00 A. M. the polls were declared
open.
