The 'folloV~ing '~ballot clerks were sworn in: John J. D~.isooll Jr.-, Joseph M. Cadrain~ John H. Bartlett Jr. and Seddon W. Legg Jr. -- ~:.~:?/ The ballots in three Sealed packages said to contain 608 Democratic ballots were delivered to the Ballot Clerks and th. eir receipt taken therefor. ,.-~' ~ ~ ::-,., The ballot box and Emergency ballot box were then opened for inspection. · They were examined by Wendell H. Howes~ Seddon W. LeEg Jr.', Charles Clark Coffin and Joseph M. Cadrain and found to be empty. The register on the ballot box was set at 0000~ -Both boxes were then locked and the keys turned over to W~ndell H.'
