Soverino, Holdgate ~served as Ch. pro tern until Nr. Soverino arrived and assumed the'chair. ~ ~ War~ant NO-2~ totalling $2,~88~.~ was 'p~ese~ted by To~ Acco~tant ~rrett and checke~ and appmoved by the Board. Nm. Roge~ ~nh~ was present and discussed with the~board again the posts at Indian Ave. ~ opinion was received and read fr~ the town~counsel~advising the board that if he felt the road dangerous to passems or ca~s it was our duty to block it off. .Park'er Gray was present'and ~tated'he had received complaints accusing h~u of selling liquor after hours, wanted to go on record as~stating this was not so. The following permits and licensss were granted. Roger~, COmmon Vict, Ice Cream and Soft Drink. John V. Thomas, taxi licenSe, m ~ganuel Correra,'dba Snack Shop entertaimnent permit. The board voted'to have ]~r. Puttrick install a drinking at the S. Beach. Dennis Dias applied for a Conm~on Vict wine and malt lt6ense it was voted that it take the course'prescribed by law.( app- lication was withdr~vn the neet day by Mr. Dias). ~ The board app~0ved a slow ~ign~at the~ fOOt of King street in sconset and,~voted,to make hairpin'curve one waF the direction to be determined after consulting~some of the towns taxi drivers. It was also voted to erect a ten minute parking Sign at'the Sconset~Post.office and~a'l hr. parking sing at the reguala~ parking area at Sconset. It was Voted~to~inst~uct the operators of the~ sightseeing busses to confine their busses to thei~ prescribed routes. Bids were~received for the painting,'~'carpentry and masonry at the Sanford House as follows: Painting 0zzie~smail Lawrence ?~ulke~n Carpentry- Douglas La~rence ~ Seddon Legg (carpentry and mason~) Masonry- no seoerate bid. The Work was awarded to Mr. l~ulke~n'a~d Mr. Legg to be done in accordance with the specifications bid on. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at lO.15 J. Glidden, Secretary
