Warrant number 16, 'totalling $7,480.50 was~'ch~cked ~and -~pPro~ed
by the Board.
~r. ~Ja~ckle.suPt of streets was present and discussed specificati
for curb on Washington street with the board. It was voted to~
advertise the Washington street job for bids the same to close
April 2~th at 8 P~.~
On motion of I~Ir. Coffin it was voted~to auth'$~tz~~ the Supt Of
Streets ,to proceed with the~siaconset bus stand Job.
T~e ~b0~a~d also dis~s~ed the ~v6rk~to b~"d~ne On W~ ,York la~d
with reference to the necessity for putting in dead men in th~
middle of the street, ~r. Jaeckle was requested to c~nf~ w-%th ~
i~snd mechanics on :this matter and report ,at a later date.
?;inutes~of the last meeting were read and 'approved
~r. Herbert S~ith requested that ,the Netserial day app~;opri~.t~n
be placed in the hands of the Spanish ~;!ar Vets. assister~ by,the
American Legion~and the VFW. it was 'so voted.
It was voted to' write the CO at Boston' to obtain in~ormati~'
reference to small boat inspections and,to ,suggest if possible'
that an inspector be sent here sometime about ~the l~th of June.
It was vo~ed t~ ihspect'bhe ~,~ad~ket Pier ~n Tuesda?- at 11.50 a~d
to invite the Pier Committe to be-with'us.
It Was voted to have a ~meeting'~..~th~the+,transPortati0n c6~ittee
on Tuesday at 7.~0 at the Selectmens rooms
Their being no further business the meetin~ a~jou~n~d at' 10'.15.
