Warr~n~'No,9 totalling ~,V92.38 was ~es~nted'by tovm, accountant Barrett and checked and approved by the board. I~r. Blount',-shellfish warden and Mr. V~eeler state Biologist were present and conferred with the board on seed'scallops .'N~ Wheeler felt that the ,board had taken the proper action in closing off certain areas~to scalloping in view or'the~ un-unified~opinion as to the scallops that were,being taken but also qualified this by stating that the stuff that was shov~ him turned out excellent eyes and that if we felt it was a question~of helping the fisheEnen over a hard spot in the season we might~leave the matter up to them for decision. 01a~ spat in Sachacha pond was discussed and Nr.~V~eler stated he would obtain samples of the'water to test its salinity and that he felt that if we~could take-some of this seed and replant it in'other areas it might do better than seed sent here Brom some other district. Mr.~ L. ToPham was~present,~ and gave tbs board the~list of legion fire and police patrolmen for~ the coming year. J~mes ~al'sh ~was granted a oe~mit for a minstrel sho~ for the Red Men. Thomas Gi~f~n was grant~d' a renewal of his pistol pe~Eit.
