February 16th !950
The meeting came to order at 8 PM ~ll members being p~es~nb.
Warrant N0-V was presented by Town Accountant and checked and
approved by the Bard.
An application was received from Mr. Gilbert Burche~l for a
license to operate a Drive'In~0pen Air theatre, the matter was
voted to be referred to the town cmnsel for his opinion as
regards any formalities necessary. ,
Mr. B10unt the shellfish Warden was present and reported on his
trip up to'consult with the'state biologist Mr. V~eeler as re
seed scallops,' he stated that Mr. ~eeler and the'sc~_entiest at'
the ~oods Hole Labatory thought the~samples were large seed, but
that they were forwarding them to Boston for further study and.
would send us a written report.
A permit was granted St. Pauls Church Womans Auxiliary for a .
dan ce on Sat. Feb. 18th 1950.
A~thony Docca was granted a renewal of his common victuallers
license.
Pistol perm'.ts'and aPp'ointments'as spe'cial Police were gr~nted,
to Garret H~yser and Daniel Harrington.
Chs. Handy was appointed a'Sl~cial Police 0f~icer, and his pistol
permi~ re~ewed. ~. ~ ' ....

Barrett on the matter ~of sn article in the warrant suffieient~
to pay unpaid bills of last year.
