Warrant No. 52, in the amount of $46,855.74, was approved by the
Board of Selectmen,,
LICENSE:'REQUESTS:
e) Albert G. Stackpole requested a renewal of hie Common Victualers
license and licens~ for the sale of milk and ice cream at the
A & T Diner,'39 Centre Street. The Board approved this request
subject to inspection.
b) Nantucket Rharmacy,'Inc. requested renewal of their Common'Victualers
and milk and ice cream license. The Board a~rpved this request
subject to inspection. .-
c) The Green Coffee Pot Restaurant requested renewal of their Common
Victualers license. This was approved, subject to inspection.
d) Don Allen 'requested renewal of his agents or sellers license, Class
1. This wac pproved.
e) Dance 'A request by Neil stanley for permission to hold a dance on
Saturday, Oenuarv 3, 1970, at the American Legion Hall,'from.8:00
~o 12:00 R.M.,'with Patrolman Robert Hunt on duty Was referred to
Chairm~n Holdgate. for further information on the age l~it of those
attending the dance.
CISCO ESTATES-An objection t~ the development known as .cisoo Estates"
was received from Edith and Norman Olsen. This has been forwarded
the Rlanning Board.
DEPT. A letter from the Civil Service Commission"set forth the

~TUGMET BOAT ~NC. Note was madm bf.copies Of twenty fou~ (24) letters
sent to'the Corps' of Engineers by individuals and corporations all'
opposing the Nantucket Boat Inc. pier project. A letter from the
Board of Selectmen o"' the same Subject Was a~proved. It was noted that
the De . Of Public Works, Division of Waterways, ehould have ~opies of
all letters priom to the hearing scheduled for Oanuarv 13, ~B?O.

:1. A. Preston Manchester's 're'quest for permission to provide set Ups
for a Priv~ate party at the Bosun's Locker on December 31, 1969
denied.
2. Approval'was given to issue a Common victualers, year round, wine
and malt beverage license to A. Preston Manchester in advance of
receipt of the A.B.C. ~rittsn approval on the basis of a verbal
approval from A.B~G. Secretary Nelson.~
3. The School committee is to be requested to write to the Board
of Selectmen regarding the suit brought against them so that
the Board may reply.
