.LIQUOR TRANSFER ~ Mr~ James M. Glidden~spoke in behalf of three
seasonal liquor license transfers stating that ~he lease with Tread~sy
Inns exPires this year, that the Harbor House would be managed, bv M.~..
Richard Davenport that the White Eieph~nt Inn and cottages~W~Uld be
managed by George E Black and that the new Sea Cliff Inn at 31-35 Cliff
Road'would have a change. of designation from Innhblde~s to com.mon
v'icb~alers managed by Linc coppelett~' dba The Coach Room at the same
location. He suggested if this was advertised immediately, if the-
Boa~d"approved of these transfers, h~ would be able t° take the
necessary papers to 80ston, personally, after the 10 dav period so
that ~ese licenses 'would be tranef, er~ed in 1969. Mr. Whe'lde"n made
a'motion,to'take the course prescribed by la~, it was seconded and so
voted.

12:DO P.M. M~. Dim Hastings is to be Special Police for this occasion.
M~. Haley made a motion that this zequest be granted, it was seconded
and so voted.

PuBLIc ACCESS 8DARD The Board received a brief answer f~om the Public
Access 8oa~d ~egarding'the Polpis Ha~bo~ Bublic Landing stating that
no action had been'taken on this matter due.to the fact that land
acquisition appraisals must be made and they weze not able to obtai~
any appraisers to do this work. The 8oard voted to ask the following.

NANTUCMET CIVIC LEAGUE A lette~ was received f~om the Nantucket Civic
League complaining-about the Nantucket 8oat Company, of Hyannis, p~o-
cumin9 an option on a lot 30 ft. wide on the east side of Washington
St;,' with the announced intention of building a pie~ there instead, of
using Straight Wharf. The 8oard voted to forward a copy of this lette~
to Foley, Hoag & Eliot which might help them in the legal suite against
the Town.
