Warrant No.'.38,'in the amount ~f $52,9~6.92, was approved by the Board, . DUHE'S ROAD POLE LOCATION ,H~s. George Miller wes p~esent in regard to Duke's Road being dug up a~d some of her little trees being destroyed.' Supt. Jones'assured Mrs. Miller that the D.P.W. would take care of. cleaning up this road immediately. Mrs. Miller had'no objection to CATO LANE BID - ARTICLE 91 -Only One' bid was received fr~'m Walter F. Blowacki ~in the amount of $5,8?5,00,' to do the work as sPecified¢': ' under Article 91.~'There being no other bidders, Mr. Haley made a motion ' to acce~t this bid, it was seconded and so voted. .~' L .. The secretary· was told to send out abutter's notices for a hearing which is to be held October 1~ 1969. . ~' '. OPENING RRADS TO THE PUBLIC 'Mr. Sangui6etti wrote in repiy to the Selectmen's question on the legal aspects of closing off roads"by~ private individuals., Mr,.Sanguinetti indicated that for land-that has.. been Land Oourted,'the road may be closed if. it is not shown on ~he Land Court Plan. For land that has not been through the Land Court, th~ Land Court will'accept roads that have been in use since "time~-'!'- immemorial"~ In addition, Mr, Sanguinetti indicated the~necessary steps to establish clearly Town rights of way. "~' .' ~','"~,~':· ', VACATION Mrs. Olive Garrabrant requested her vacation for a two wee.k. period beginning October 6th through October 19, 1969.
