SMALL BOAT MOORING On a motion, ~ulv seconded, it Was voted: "The harbor area west of a line running' from the southeast.corner of Commercial'Wharf to the northeast corner of the Nantucket Shipyard, Inc. property shall be set aside as a small boat ~ mooring area. No.vessel over. 40' in length engaged in commercial enterprise shall enter 'the area except for refueling or repair. BENCHES A. letter from Mrs. Cole requesting that benches on Main Street be returned to their proper place was referred to the 18.'TAXI STAND A letter from the ~emb'ers of the Independent Taxi was received. This letter thanked.the Selectmen for their action in setting up a,texi.stand at Main and Federal Streets. 19" NOISE COMPLAINTS Chairman Holdgate ~eported that he had h~d- ..complaints regarding noise from Thirty'Acres,'Chicken Box,, Nantucket Boys'.Club and Legion Hall. SURFSIDE'EAsT ROAD CLEAR~NG Stuart Day asked about.the disposition'i'~ of a summons in re~ard to the alleged'intention of the Board of Selectmen to olear~"all laid out ways in Surfside. 'Chairman'Holdgate reported 'that' the summons'had been mailed to Roy Sanguinetti for legal advice. There being no fu~th~'b~siness, the meeting adjourned at ~:02 P.M.. and went into Executive Session.
