A notice was received from Mr. ~TelI Berna of the School C~ittee of the
resignation of ~endell H. Howes from said Comittee and in the same
~mail the Board was in receipt of a letter from ~endell~ H.~ Howes advising
* us to disregard any notice of his resignation. Both of these mat~ers were
