The meeting came to order at 8PM all members ~f the BOard being~p~esent.

~inutes' of the previous meeting were read and approv~d.~'
~r.Mbr~ens/of tlarbor View Way was p~esent 'with various other Lodging House
operators to inquire as to just what the regdlations ar~ that govern
or are to govern Fire escapes and other regulations as regards lodging
houses. The Board advised that we~were requesting the Fire Chief to
have a representative of the State Fire Marshalls office meet with us
~so,that we could compile some type of simple code which could be pub-.
'lished in the paper so that all operators would be aware of it and that
we would do this no later than Sept.
Mr. Stephen ;Vise and Mr. Dun Gilford were present and requested that no action
be taken by the Town to,pave Hinckley Lane,'~hey also.inquired about the
status of John Doe Land so called and stated they felththat'the Town shoul.
~acquire more beach areas-and:that greater restrictions:should be placed
on Jeeps wandering over the~.dunes and creating erosion problems. Stated
~' that it might be practical to obtain a concise opinion from the Town
Counsel'as to the towns rights in anj'roads that had been open to the
public for a period of years and let an owner prove otherwise. It was

The ~atte~ of Harbor pollution ~as again b~ght up by Dr. Schnelle a~d ~he
-Secy read the report of a Sp. meeting held with representatives of
Sherburne associates and the Harbor ~aster.
The Boys Club was 'granted a'permit to operate a dance on Sat. from 8PN to
: 'midnight, ~e ~o.be advised of the name of the~Sp. ~olice officer.
A request Was ~e'ceived from residents of Derrymore road relative to the -.
need for patching'where the new sewer line was laid and this was voted

The oard as' in receipt of a citation from the 'Sup.:'C0art relative to
drawing o£ jurors for the fall session of the Sup/'Court and it was
:voted to meet at the 'office of the Tdwn Clerk on Fri. at 8.30 A~ for

There being no further business the Board went into ~xe~utive session~and
