':~ stated that he felt a dik~ should be placed across, the tip of"Rhm pasture and that he had discussed this with the'owners and they had no objection. This matter was discussed at some length and it was Voted to have the DPW close the pond in this manner. Dr. Gerry Schn~le was present With reference to a 'let~r,~the Board had sent ,,him relative to some bulldozing that we had claimed he had done in tidewater without'a permit, stated that he had done nothing more th~an the town had done in previous years on its adjacent beach and that he had not gone out into the water to obtain this sand. Mr.-Driscoll of the DPW was present and advised that he had talked with Mr. L. Start, who did the bulldozing work for the town and who had previously worked for Nant. Const. Co. and that Mr. Start had told him that he,had never taken any sand from below high water mark.
