Warrant No. 12 totalling $23,919.26 was presented by Town Acct ~'Barrett and
'checked and approved by the Board. ' .....

Mr. John H. Bartlett Jr.~ was present ~d pointed out't0 th~ Board various
laws and regulations which he felt gove~ed the opening~ of great Ponds
and the rights of abutters etc,. suggested that his feeling was that a
, pipe should be installed through'the beach to r~ the 'pon,d.dow~ so that
the entry o~'salt water could be controlled.' :' '~," :~ ,..
Mr. Ralph ~larble ~d Mr.'Geilb6rt;:Bd~ch~ll owners of l~d adjac~ht to
Maicomet Pond were also present-but had no cogent'other .th~ to suggest
ihat they would like to be notified of ahy action the Board: might t~e
relative to the opening of,this.pond,' All of these matters ~ere t~en
Mr. RoBert. lt. Ch~istkan. ~as present .~nd.,spoke relative to his-request
an alcoholic .beverage license at' the former LeBistro Rest. property on
Union Street,' Mri Walter Glowacki was also present ~d spoke on his re-
q~est for a license atthe former'Nobadeer Restaurant property. 'No action
was t~en on these re4aests,at this.time, The.Board at'a special meeting
held on, 21 March 68 incident to the dra~ipg of Jurors discussed-both of
these matters at length and voted to award this'license to ~tr.~ Glo~acki.
