Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. "Minutes of the'previou~ meeting were read and. approved. In accordance with a published public notice, a joint hearing was held by the Board of Selectmen and the Planning Board on the matter of -Art. 23 of the Annual Town Meeting ~arrant relative to the adoption of a By-Law. regulating Campers and Trailers. No one being present to comment on this matter, it was Voted: That the Selectmen and Planning Board go on record as being in favor, of this By-Law. ~ The Board discussed 'with Shell£ish Wa~den.Holdgate the matter of temp. ' control for the taking of Scallops for Commercial use and it was VOTED: That no scallops shall be taken from the waters of Nantucket when the air~temPis 2S degrees fahrenheit or lower. 'Bids were-received on the furnishing of gas and oil for Town owned vehicles as follows: - - Albert_h. Silva. Inc.---Reg. Gas.3$9¢ per gal; Pre oil'.S0¢ qt. Island Mtrs. I~c. ~' .--Reg. Gas . 359 Per gal; Pre~i6m 0il'and' other grades as by the first bidder. ~"-' Voted that the contract be awarded to the Lowest bidde~ Albert 'L:~ "Silva A communication was received from the Int, Rev.'service; relative to using the selectmens rooms on two days 26 Feb.' and'14 March to assist citizens with questions on taxes and with returns'~'It was voted to approve .same. There b~ing no-further business the 'Board went into executive session and adj' at 9~30 PM ~' ~'%' EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board discussed the matter o~ renewing the contract of Mri'Mic~aei Criscoll as Supt. of the Dept. of Public ~orks when-same expires o~ 8 March 1968 and it was Voted: To advise Mr. Driscoll that we would not b'e"¥enewing this contract when it expired. -
