Selectmen and Historic Districts Commission -- 13 October ,1967
A special meeting of the B°ar'd~0f Selectmen and the Nantucket
Historic Districts Commission was held at the Selectmen's
Rooms at 4:30 P.M. on Friday, 13 October, 1967, having been
duly advertised as provided by law.
Present were Selectmen Allen E. Norcross, James K. Glidden, "
Andrew E. Lowell and Kenneth' W. Holdgate; Historic District
Commissioners Sidney H. Killen, Jose Reyes, John McLaughlin
and John McCalley.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect a member to the H~storic
Districts Commission to fill the vacancy left by the resi
tion of Mr. Harold Lindley.
Written applications were received from Charles W. Pearl, Robert
C. Caldwell and Allan J. Royal.
Ar.' motion was:made and seconded that we oroceed by written ballot
to vote on this matter. Said vote was taken with Robert C.
Caldwell receiving seven votes;~Allan J."Royal, one vote,
being all of the votes cast. Robert C. Caldwell was elected
to this position.
