Warrant ~36, totaling $56,028_,48, _was present'ed by Town Accountant Barrett and was checked and approved by the Board. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. It was Voted ~o~extend the 'closing hour.of eStabliShments holding Alcoholic Beverages licenses so that they may remain open on Saturday. nights-Sunday mornings until 1: 00 A.M. A ~letter was 'received from the Shetterly Develppment Corp. request. ing approval of a mercury-type lamp at iffs Parking area at Siasconset at the Porch Restaurant. Same was ~not approved. A letter was received from Mr. CrOcker S~ow of the MassachUsetts Aeronautics Commis~.on, giving a breakdown'of the cost esti- mates used by the blOC in it's determination of whether or not the runway extension would be more expensive~ to the north- east or to the southwest.. It was voted to refer a copy~:,of said letter to the Airport Commission. Mr. William Schustik was granted a permit to conduct a concert at Straight Wharf Theater on Sunday, Sept. 3rd. Bids were' received from the Aetna Engineering COmpany relative to the installation of a new switchboard electrical panel and heating at the Sewer Pumping Station at Sea Street under~ Article 54 of the Annual Warrant. The total bid for both items was $14,225.00, which was well in excess of the total appropriation of .$12,400.00. ~An alternate bid covering' the switchboard panel and electrical work in the amount of ~ $11,485.75 was submitted and ~same was voted approved. There being no further business 'to come before the Board,' the Board went into Executive Session and adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
