The Selectmen's Meeting"came to order at 8:00 P.M. with all mem-
bers of the Board being present. : ~ ~?. ~'
Warrant #34, totaling $26,471.27,.was presented by Town'Accountant
Barrett and was checked and approved by the Board.-~
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approvedl
R. Brad Dinsmore, Jr.~was granted the Board,s'approval'to hold a
~ .~,private party at Legion Hall on Tuesday the 22nd of August
.--from 9 to 1 A.M., same to be properly supervised by a special
James E. Worth was granted a renewal of his Junk Dealers license.
Mr. E. Dguglas Heisler of the %~ite Elephant.wrote requesting
permission to use the'Children's Beach on Saturday the 9th
of September in connection with a clam bake to'be put on for
the Young Presidents' Convention. Same was voted approved.
The Board' approved the request of Tell Berna to use the Selectmen'
Rooms on the 22nd of August.for the Annual Meeting of the
The-Board voted t° amend/the'Traffic Regulations~°f the Town Of
Nantucket to provide that York Street to be one-way from
Union Street to Pleasant'and Dover Street'one-way from
Pleasant to Union. '~
