The Selectmen'$ Meeting came to order at 8 25 P.M., having been
preceeded by a County Commissioners'~ Meeting; all members of
the Board being present.
Warrant ~32, totaling $78,900.45, was presented b~=Town Accountant
Barrett,'and was checked and approved by the Board.
The minutes Of the previoUs meeting Were~ad~and approved by the
Board.
Mr. Robert Christman was present and discussed Suggestions'and
tdeas'~'relative to reducing the number of cars on Nantucket
with the Board.
Mr.'EdmUnd Ram°s,..in behalf of the American Legion carnival Com-
~ mittee, was present"and was grahted a permit to have trailers
at said Carnival during the period of the 8th thru 12th of
A letterWas received~from Miss Edna~May of Liberty Street, re-.
~questing that the BOard take no action on the request receive~
