Warrant No. 29, totali4ng ~212,481'.~63, was presented by Town Accountant Barrett and was checked and approved by the Boa~do The minutes of the previoUs meeting were read and approved° Mr. Howard L. Crise, 3rd, Harry Clute and Ernest.Trubiano were 'appointed as special police upon request of Chief Howes of the Police Dept.' An application was received from Roger~o Young for a Yellow line ~u~ "on Broad~ Street in front of his place of business and also on'So. Beach Street across the end of a private way leading '~ to his property. ~The line on So. Beach'St. was approved; .the matter of the~.~yellow line on Broad Street was tabled at this time. An application~from one. Peter Rose for a permit to erect a sign at his ~p~ace of business at 22 Broad Street, was approved, same hav~ng been approved as to form by the Historic District ~ Commission. Alcon Chadwick, as Chairman of the North'Church Fete committee, was granted a permit to close Center Street from Ash Lane to Lily Street on August 17th from 2 to 5:45 ~lrs.
