The meeting 'of the Selectmen came to'order at 8:15 P.M.~ ~havi g
been preceeded bye.a County Commissi0ner's Meeting. All~
{'members of the Board Were present.
Warrant No. 28,'tptaling,~$43,803.60, was presented bY ToWn Account-
'ant Barrett and was checked and approved by the Board.

ence to an application to.operate teen dances at Leg~n Hall-
on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 P.M.~to 11:00
-P.M.,and.to serve sofp drinks thereat .... The~Board approved
~this request with the stipulation that~theY supply two
"special police officers~and that if we had any'complaints
from the neighbors as to'noise~we Would have to'rePoke the
'~ permit.·
Mr. Parker W.~Gray was preSent and commented on'a Pole and guy
wire at Massasoit Bridge,' which'~Mr. Gray felt was tcO close
to the road and would constitute a traffic hazard. ~ It was
voted to confer with the Nantucket Gas & Electric Co. rela-
tive to this matter.
Mrs. C~rles~Pea~l was gr~anted a common Victualler. license in
connection with her catering' service at Main Street in
. Siasconset~ , ,, , ~ ,,,, - ,~, -.
