'~ ~ ' Warrant No. 18, totaling j~~C'~was presented by.Town Barrett and was checked and'approved by the'~oard. The minutes of the previous were read and approved. Mr. Brian Holdgate, a member of the Sophomore Class Of Nantucket High .School was present and requested a permit' for'a dance at Bennett Hall on Friday, 28 April from 7:30 P.M. to 12:00 Midnight, chaperons to be Mr. ~& Mrs. ~Fred Egan and Mrs.' Henry Terry and special policeman,~ Donald Gibbs. Same was voted approved. · 4. The matter of the annual firew0~ disPl~y'~on 'the' fourth of July holiday was discussed ~d 'it~was voted'~to ~ave the fireworks display on the night before the holiday, 3--July, 1967. Notice was ~eceived from the Office of the Sec~etR'ry of State relative to the incorporation of Margaret~Fawcett and others as Straight Wharf Theater, Inc~~ and certified by - , the Board. ~ ~. It was voted to approve, the moving of,, a str~e~e~6''' light from ~its pre- 'sent location on Old South Whar~,_an~.'~J'd'dl~ Street to a location directly across the' street o~ Old South Wharf. . Walter F. GloWacki requested a '.t?~.sfer of his seasonal ~all *. alcoholic liquor license at Nobadeer Restaurant to a corpor- ation, Nobadeer, Inc., .stockholders' being Walter F. Glowacki, Mary Glowacki and Mary Ann Egan. Board a~ro~ed the license for the Storage'of motor vehicle'gas in an underground tank of 500 gallon capacity at prOperty of Marguerite Barrett on Somerset Road, Nantucket, a hearing having been held in accordance with law at 10:00 A.M. this date and no objections having been received. Valle was granted a common' victualler licenSe at a~ restaurant prpperty at 38'Center Street, Nantucket, subject to inspection by the restaurant,inspectors. Mr'.~'Albert sta~kpole was granted a renewal of,his common v~ and soft drink licenses at the Children's Beach and Surfside Beach. IFrank Riley, dba The Sandpiper Restaurant Was,granted a renewal of his common victualler, ice cream and milk licenses at Said premises subject to inspection. The' Red Men were granted a permit to ho!~ a Parade on 13 May, 1967. It was,voted to advertise for sealed bids for an accounting machine for the Town Treasurer, under Article 18,of the Annual Warrant, same to be in the hands of the Board by 10 May, 1967. It was voted to have the Town coUnsel file an appearance ~for' the , ~ Town in the matter of the Arthur Dean Land Court petition. there being no further business, the BOard went into'Executive Session and adjourned at 10:00 P.M.,' ,
