Mr'. Cf George Anast0s ~sq. was present with his, client'Miss
, ',.. Lorraine Larrabee and spoke, in behalf, of the applica~i0n
of Miss Larrabee'for~,the seasonal all alcoholic beverage
license., ,she'had applied for at premises'forme~ly known
as Tomas Sea ~oods on Un,on St. Nantucket 'Mass. Stated
that Mr. Thomas has:left .the proper~y to his clien~'and
that she needed ~he license to make ~he'bes~ use of the
premises and preserve {ts value,' ~hat he:'felt the Board ,
had a mo~al obligation to g~ant this license to he~. ~athe~
. ~ ~han to others who had applied previously as Miss Larrabee
"had been in charge of this-operation for Mr. Thomas etc.

On the ap~licati0n of Raymond and Catherine Wiley for a seasonal
all alcoholic'beverage licenses a~ the Chanticle~ in
Siasconset,, s~e hav~ng been duly adv~ the ten days as
provided by law having expired, it was'on motion' duly made
and seconded Voted: To approve the granting of said license.
Only one.bid was received on the const, of a bulkhead at'the'
Hither Creek end of Mass.' Ave. in Madaket, ~ha~.from
Donald McDonald in the'amount of $~500.00 dollars. It was
voted that same be approved.
Mr. Nathan Thurston at Sunny Acres Dairy was granted a' renewal
of his soft' drink license.
The Mad Hatte~ was granted a renewal"0f its,license for 'recorded
background music on weekdays and sundays.
On request of Chief Howes one ,Joffie Medieros was 'appOinted '_
as a Sp. police office~ for service wi~h,the police Dept.
There being no further business it was on motion duly made and
seconded Voted to adjourn.
