The meeting came 'to order at 7.30 PM ail members of the Board
being present.
Warrant N~.'4, totalling $134,333.41 was p~esented bY Town
Acct. Barrett and checked and approved by The Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A letter was received from Robert B,.Shetterly relative to
a hedge at Siasconset and filed.,.
The Board approved the license fo~ the Homestead of Nant.
Inc. formerly Old Peoples Home,~ as a rest home.

.A letter was received from bfr. Donald F. Ma of the AFL-
.CIO advising .that he represented a'majority of the employees
,of-the DPW and Airport and that he would desire to meet
with us at our meeting.on.1 Feb. to offer proof of rep-
resenting said .majority to the Board. As this is our regular
open meeting no reply was deemed necessary.
Mr. William Allen dba ^llens Food Co. ~at York St. Nantucket
Mass was granted a limited Comm. ¥ict, license to prepare
food on said premises not to be consumed on the premises,
no exterior signs or advertising.
Beachside Motel, Gilbert Waine, Prop. was granted a renewal
of its !nnholders license.
The Board was .in receit of,the.bids on the School loan bonds
from the Town treasurer and signed same.
A bid of 389.99 was received from the Inq. & Mirro Publ. Co.
for the three printings of the annual warrant booklets.and
Voted accepted.
The matter of the petiton of the Hither Creek Boar yard Inc.
at Madaket to dredge, fill'and bulkhead was discussed and
'it was voted to approve the request to dredge and fill pro-
vided no fill is allowed to obstruct the Madaket Creet ent-
rance and'provided that as regards the bulkhead and'finger
piers-that pier labled "Z" on the plan submitted to'the
Board be eliminated either by moving all:three proposed
- piers t6 the North or by increasing the length'of the other
two .piers, reason for this being that the pier Z as.shown
' ' would obstruct the entrance and egress to Madaket Creek.
There being no further business the~Board went into executive

Voted to request the Town Counsel to file an aPpearance ,.
and objection to that part of the land count petition of
Charles W. Fisher at Milestone Road as included any part of
the County layout of said sconset or Milestone Road.
