Warrant No. 52, totalling $41,072.48 was presented by Town Acct. Barrett and checked and approve~d by the Board. Minutes of the previous meeting Were read and approved. Mr.~ Albert Stackpole was present and requested approvals of various matters at his Surfside and Childrens Beach operations after discussion it was Voted as follows:, To kuth0rile him to install a rail around the pOrch at childrens beach 'To .paint' trim',' to install false o'r vanity partition in toilet rooms, to install underground elec. service, all to be at his expense and with understanding that.as regards the cable that the lawn be returned to its former condition, At surf side it was V'ot~d to authorize him to have his surfboat Snack bar at the rear of the dune and to construct a platform · with railing but not roof. The Senior Class was granted a permit' for a dance at Legion Hall on Fri'. from 8-12, Sp. police Donald Gibbs. Mr. Richard Corgi~h Jr. was present and stated .that he had made '., a visit to Boston and talked with Dir. Shepard and Mr. Cookingh; of,the Dept. of Fish and Game relative to game wardens and the deed hunting situation on the Island, stated that they had ad- ,vised him that they would be,happy to come down and discuss thi,~ matter with the Selectmen sometime in Feb. Voted to write letter to Dr. Shepard requesting he meet with us on this matter Bids on the furnishing of Oil at various tOWn and county bldgs. Were received as follows: Sherburne Oil ....... .14.1@.gal Harbor Fuel .... 14.7 gal. Voted that same be awarded the 'lowest bidder Sherburne Oil Co. Nant. Ph. Inc.' was granted a renewal of its comm. Vict. and ice cream license for 1~67. Virginia P. Rock dba Airport Snack bar was ~,ranted renewal of her common vict. ice cream and soft'drink licenses for 1967. 'Voted to open the Warrant for the Annual To~n Meeting, and that same may close on 18 Jan. 1967. Voted to' request bids on the printing of the 1966 Town report on the same basis as last. year from the Inq. & Mirror and the Poets Corner press, same to be in by 11 Jan. 67. There being no further business the Board went into executive session and adj. at 10 PM.
