Warrant No. 51, totalling $108,109.95 was Presented by Town Acct.
, Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Pole locations for the Nantucket Gas and Elect'~i~'~omPany on
Candle St., Coffin Street and Fair Street were voted to
take the course Prescribed by law. .~
It was voted to request the ~three local'fuel oil'~supPliers to
submit bids on furnishing fuel 0il'for.the Tbwn and
'County Buildings,.same to be in by 28 Dec.
A letter ~as received from the' State Board 'of PltCmbers advising
that at a recent meeting,.it had been voted to accept
:' applic~ttons'for~journeyman plumbers~licenses from Nan-
tucket, who could submit a letter signed by the Board of
Health members, to the effect that they have.been'act£vely
engaged in plumbing~business three years 'previoUs to
said application. ~
Only one bid was'received for the furnishing Of a pump, hose,.
and Sp~ay gun for'the DPW;'that.from the Abbott Spray and'
Machine Co. in the toaal amount-of $1218.00~~ Same was
voted approved. ' . '~ ·
