Warrant No. 42 totalling $136',307.34 was presented by TOwn Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.

The Board met as County commissioners With Mr;' Lindsay Perry
of Tristrams Landing Inc. relative to various paper roads
in the Massasoit Bridge Area of Madaket'and it was voted
to .have a public hearing on same on 14 Nov. 1966.
A letter..was received from Mr. Robert A. Ranke relative to
the:removal of Slow Children signs 'on E. ,Dover St. and
referred to the DPW. ,,
A letter was received from Albert sta~kPole relative to a
Proposed addition to his Surfside operation and it was
voted to look at the area in question before' arriving at
~ decision.
A letter was received from Mr'. 'Ray Wil~y ~'f the Chanticleer
denoting his interest in a seasonal all alcoholic lic.'

Chief Barti~tt was present and discussed With the Board the
matter of.. equipment which would be :sold with the Old
-LaFrance fire truck, Items.to be included, are 24' ladder,
14'-.ladder, soda and acid extinguisher,.two 2½" nozzles,
three' 4½". adapters, two. 4½" .suction .hose, one suction
strainer, spotlight, handlamp,' axe, some 2½". hose, two

It was 'also voted to authorize the ~ttendance of two men at the
t'he,Fire school at Barnstable County..
