Warrant No. ~37,' totalling $63 ~, 053 .39 was presented by ToWn Acct. Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. ~Mr. 30hn Santos Sr. was .Present and asked the Board not 'to forget that we were to take 'some 'action on the removal~ og §ome old buildings in Codfish Park, this fall, which the Board agreed we would do. Mr. David Murray, F~r. Sidney Killen were present and presented letters from Mr. David Lilley Commodore'of the Nant. Yacht Club and from Richard Deutsch;'.Pres.' of- the Brant Point 'Asso. Mr. Killen outlined the purposes for which the Brant Point Asso. was organized, same being to present a united front on things which are good for Nantucket in general and brant point in particular. Suggested that - -it might be possible for the Board~to establish harbor regulations limiting the size of boats in certain areas of the harbor. , Chief Howes presented a list of Slow Children signs' which he felt could be removed and the Board voted to take no action on same until the list had appeared in the local :press.~ ,, Mrs Bissinger of Faff street wrote requesting a brick sidewalk at her property on the corner of Fair and Darling streets of which she would pay half the cost and same was voted to be listed and filed with the D?W.' On request of property owners of Tuckernuck', Walter S. Barrett was appointed as.a Sp. Police officer for Tuzkernuck,~ subject to approval of Chief }{owes. A letter was received from Col Lee of Siascons~t stating his interest in purchasing the old sconset fire and p~lice bldg. and filed. There being no l further business the Board Went into executive session and adj. 'at 9.30 PM.
