Warrant No. 28, totalling $55,'&26.39 was presented by Town ' Accountant Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. Minutes~ ~of the previous meeting were read and app~oved~ Ensign James Da~ris, a resident of Federal'Street was present and discussed with the Board the matter of. two small dogs which he was keeping, in his ya~:l on Federal Street and which e~mp!aints had been against by Mrs. Curtin. After discussing the matter, the B~ard voted to advise Mr.'' Davis that he may keep the dogs outside between 9:00 ' · and 5:00 PM with the suggestion that some sort~ of shield be placed. around the kennel to deter the noise; Mr. chari~s H.~Fl~bori~ wa~V'aPPoint~'d~ as~Sp~i~li P01ice'~o serve at Jetties Beach on redommendation of Chief Howes. The' Boa~' discUssed the matter of School sign ~on School Street, Siasconset and. voted to have 1~. George 'McDofiald of ~the DPW look at it.
