The meeting came to order at 8.06 PM having been preceeded by
a County Commissioners Meeting, all members of the Board
being present.
Warrant 'No. 27. totalling $33,221.74 was presented by Town
Acct.~ Barrett and checked and approved by the Bdard.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read 'and approved.'
The matter of the Hooper Farm Road, sewer was discussed with
a representative of Johns Manvi.lle CO. as to his sugg-
estions and recommendations as t,o how this~ line could
be properly relaidl He sugges~ed,-two,alternatives in the
order of,prlorty 1.~That the pipe be taken up, gaskets
~installed and the re layedi~2.,That dresser couplings be
-used. on each joint to property take the ,place of missing
gaskets.' This matter was ~ discussed at some length and
it was Voted to write Mr. Glowacki a letter advising him
of our conference and that lit was the vote of the Board
that this line be taken up and relayed with new gaskets,
It was voted to Adv. the open~:meeting. of the ConservatiOn Study
group %o ,be held at Legion Hall. on Tues. 12 July at 8PM.
A letter was ~eceived frbm Rlizabeth Barnes relative to
policewom~n, contents n'oted~and filed.
A request-for a~street light on Ash'street was received from
residents-and the Board voted to look at the area after

A letter' was received from' Mary T, Robinson of Sconset relative
to jets and noise and filed.' ""'~
Contracts on Blue Cross and Shield fOr the .County and Town
group,with revised provisions to take care of Medicare
were. received and the Ch. authorized to sign same for the
Board .....

Mr. Carl Li~dq'Uist was appointed a'Sp. Police officer t'o set ve
at the White Blephant Hotel.

barking 'in the yard next door and referred to the Dog
Officer Mr.: Day for attention.
There being no further business the Board went into executive
