Warrant No. 16, totalling $13;219.43'was presented by.TOwn Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved ,by the Board.
Minu~es of the previous' meeting were read aha approved,:
Mr. John Beamish Jr. was present and presented his resignation
as Mi. Man at Our Island Home effective this :date, and
same was voted accepted. It was voted to, adv;- for
lications for said job same to be in by nHxt meeting.
Mr. Alan P. FOrt Jr.~,was present and 'discussed wi~h the Board
his proposed operation of a restaurant at 8 N.",Water
if:the Board would approve his application for a Common
Vict. license'. This matter was discussed'a~ some length
with ~. Port and t~ken under advisement. Later in e
session it was voted not to approve this application..
Fire Chief Bartlett was 'present and furnished the Board With
breakdown of the bids on hose and fire' equipment. It was
~voted to accept, the bids of Cbs. Clougherty Co. ~for the
hose ,and misc. , equipmen~ ,in ~he total amount of..$5649.05
less 2%.
the sidewalk at his place of business on Federal St. same
to be approved as to form by,~the H.D.C.
