'Warrant No., 10,~ totalling $3416~3j39 was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by ~he Board.
Minutes of the preTious meeging were read and approT~d.
~r. Michael j. ~oran was presen~ and presenged a requesg for
a common v~ct. license a~ premises on
same was ~abled un~51 we had a plan of ~he proposed op-
eration.
The Senion Class was' granted a permit for a dance at Legion
Hall on 11 March from 8.30 to 12.
A letter was received from the'Cong.~ & Coleman Ins. 'agency'
advising that they were revising the Towns ins. coverage
along with the Brock agency under new provisions which
would result in better coverage and less cost.
A notice was received froTM the DPW and Army Eng. relative to
petitions of Nant. Yacht Clug and Allan Macomber for
permits to erect structures in tidewater at their property
in Nantucket Harbor, the Board examined the plans sumbitted
and had no objections'to same.,
The following applications 'for, alcoholic beverage, license
renewals were received and voted to take the course pre-
scribed by laws: Murrays Bev. Store; Willie House; Frank
Burr and the Mad Hatter._
A notice was recieved from the'Sco~set Community Club 'relative
to the use,of the Sconset School bldg. for ,their.meetings
and same was tabled until we had a chance to discuss this
matter with the School dept.
Voted to send Mr. O.~..' Quigle~ a letter of thanks for his help
in supervising *he work a* *he Town Bldg.
Voted to adv., for bids for L~undry at Our Island Home, and for
lhe Seweroder and Compressor for ~he DPW. ~,~.~
