The meeting came to,order at,,7.30 PM all' members 'of the Board

'Minutes of the previous meeting were read and.apProved.
Wmrrant No. 6, ~totalling'$79,616.96 ,was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett, and checked and approved by ~the Board.
Mr. Red Chase was present~ and requested a~proval 'of the usuage
' ,by him of ~the Town owned strip of~ land which runs from Macy
Lane to Old South Road, to be:used by,him for'road purposes
from Macy lane to his lumber :business. The Board felt, that
if the Town Counsel approves that we would grant an easement
revocable by the Town, ,to Mr. Chase to use said land he to
maintin same and to hold the town harmless from any liability.
blr. 'Robert Marks, in behalf "of i the, Jr.-' Class was present and
requested a permit for a dance-at Bennett Hall on Friday
from 7.30 to ,11.30 PM Mr and Mrs Robert Waine to serve as
Chaperones, same was approved. , ,
The Nantucket Boosters Club was 'granted a permit for a supper ? and dance at Legion Hall on Sat; from 9 to 12.
Notice was received from the Gas & Elec. Co. of the arrival
'of their new generator in the near future, and advising thai

Water streets to the plant. "~ .
voted to Send a'letter of thanks 'to each of t~he members' of. the
committee who served on .the planning~of the new high school
addition and further that said members, namely Mr. LeRoy True,
John Mendonca and Herbert Terry be. appointed to the Bldg.
Committee as .approved by the Town,to oversee the construction
