-'.The'meeting came to order at 7.30 PM all members of the Board
being present. ~ :
Warrant No. 49,.totalling $55,471.08 was Presented by Town
Acct. Barrett. and checked and approved by,the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr.'Joseph Mayo'Sr. was present and requested that the Board
approve the installation of an additional street light on
Warren street,.near-the'~harp curve at the.rear of the Garnet
property.~After discussion it appeared that'there was no
pole in this location,'however the Board advised that they
would look at the area.
Mr'Lester. Ayers Jr.':supt. M0~quito Contr01':'was .... ~ present and
asked about ~he matter of obtaining a portable .~ype heater
which could be used in the garage and also in the field if
necessary, suggested that Mr. Ayers obtain data on what he
wanted and confer with the Board.
~e m~sh area at the so called Folger meadow was discussed
this being one of the last salt marsh areas not ditched
and it was voted to write the Trustees of the Peabody Est.
relative to discussing this matter.
A latter.copy of one'seni to '~he'Army Bng..by the'Steamship
Auth.'was received in which the'Auth, stated that upon
re-examination of their position on this matter it appeared
that deepening 'and widening the ~ channel would be of benefit
even with existing.equipment. Voted to follow this matter
up with the Army Eng. and Cong. Keitho
A pole 10Cation.on Madaket Road for the Telephone Co. was
approved near the Tay'lor property.
A revision of th~ buried cable~permit on main s~reet, for~.
· ~ the telephone co. was approved the cable ,to go"in the street
side of the-curb so as'not to effect.the feeding roots of
the tree plapt~ngs, in the.~rea. ...
ApplicationS'for renewal'of ~lcoh01ic beverages.licenses were
received from the following ~nd voted to take.the course ,

There being no further business the Board went into executive
session and adj. at 9PM.
