The'meeting came to'order at 8PM all members'Of the Board being

warrant'No.~26, 'to'ailing $31,043'35 was presented~by Town Acct.
.~ Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Allen W. Holdgate, Harbor Master was present and reported
that the Polpis Harbor dredging was completed and that
a fine beach had been established',~10ng the shore line.
Mr.' Robert Sziklas was present to advise'~'the Board of the
regulations being established in the~village of Wauwinet
for the season to try and control vehicles and.jeeps, pointed
out that the beach areas,would be open to the,public
that cars would have to park in an allotted area and walk
to=the beaches~
The following licenses and permits were approved: ,,
Thomas,Pugh-and Roderick Firth Jr.,permits for motor

A letter was received f~om the Nant..Tree Comm.~requesting a
transfer of 10,000 dollars'for the spraying oflan additional
area for canker worm, and same was votedreferred to the
On motion duly made by Mr[ Norcross, 'it was 'voted 'to instruct
the owners of the Hayden property,'Sherburne'Associates to
remove the, old restaurant and rear shed portions of said
bldg. the Board determining that~they were unsafe and a
hazard,' or that ,they should be repaired.

use of Coal Lane by the opera house as a general refuse ,
storage area~and it was voted to have the Police Deptl check
on the area.
