Warrant No[~ 18, totalling $46,015.68 Was p/:resented.by Town Acct. Barrett and checked' and approve~'by the Board. Minutes of the previ~s meeting were read'and approved. Bids ,on'the various phases of road work,'sealcoating etc. were received 'from Nant. Const.'Co. and Walter F. Glowacki and read'and noted. Nant. Cons~. Co. being the lowest bidder on all.of ~he items bid.,It was on motion duly made and seconded voted that said Contracts be awarded the said Nant. Const, Co. A Mr.'Papadopolus representing the Unicorn Coffee House' was pre- 'sent ,and requested a permit to operate a Coffee House ,with entertainment ,at Chase Hall during the coming season Stated that the operation would be pointed~towards teen agers, hours 8 to 10 and that it would be a cabaret type operation, serving coffee, soft drinks sandwiches etc. This 'mat~er was taken under advisement with Mr. Papa- dopolus to file a written application. Walter Beinecke, et al dba Sherburne Associates applied for a seasonal all alcoholic beverage license dba The ~i~e Blephant Inn and cottages and same was 'voted to take the course prescribed by Dreamland Theatre Inc. was granted a permit to show 'sound motion pictures on Sundays June-27 - 5 Sept. 1965. blr. Kent K. King was granted a renewal of his taxi permit.
