'~he'meeting,came to order at 7.30 PM all members of the Board
Warrant No. 16, .totalling $36,456.95/we~epresented by Town . Acct. Barrett and checked' and approv, ed ..by the Board
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and 'approved. ~
Mr.~ BernaC. d Rogers of the Mass Hosp. Service was present and
wenl ~over with the Board the ~new tales for the Town Hosp.
and Surgical insurance same being an increase per month
for a single person from 6.02 to 7.10 and for ~ family
member from 17.35 to 20.65. A'letter was received from~
the Boston Mutual Ins. Co. which carries lhe life ins. parl
of lhe Towns program that the rates for this would be the
same as lasl year 1.42 per month per 1000 of life ins. and
.08¢ per ~mon~h for ~he accidental death rider.
It was voted lo authorize the Ch. lo'sign contracls for
~his coverage for ~he Board,~ ' '~
Mr. Jesse ~l~ridge of the Sconset Comfor~ 'Sla; was present and
advised that he had obtained a price of'147.50 for insialli~
new linoleum in one side of the comfort sra. and 187.50
for same with underlayment. It was voied to appoint Mr.
Norcross a committee of one to look al lhe station and
advise. ,,
Pole locations ,on Sc0nset Ave; ~ :and Hawthorne Lane were approved
for the N.E.Tel & Tel and Gas & ~lec. Co~s.
Mr. Alber't C.~'~Johnsen 'Jr..was .granted a renewal of his permi~ -,lo remove and transpor* garbage.'
The Nanl. Theatre Workshop was granted a permit ~o show a movie,
at Dreamland Theatre of Tues 27 April 65.
