The meeting'came to order:at. 7.30 PM all members of the Board'
being present except Ntt.' Killen.

Barre~ and checked and 'Approved by the Board.
Minu'les of the previous meeting were read and approved.'
Mr. 3essee ~ldridge, caretaker of the Sconsei Comfort station
was present and discussed wi~h lhe Board ihe matter of
repairing or relaying the floor at said staiion. It was
voted lo have Mr. Mldridge. obtain an estimale of the cost
., of the necessary 'repairs and adViSe.
~r. Jaeckle Sup~. of 's~reets was presen~ with ~he various se~s
of specifications for road cgn~acts,~or ~his year,~
Fire Chief. Bar~le~t'was presen~ and Wen~ over with'~he Board
the bids as received 0n the service truck for ~he ~ire~
Dept.' On motion duly made And se6unded it was vo~ed ~o
Accept'the bid of Gordon M~r.' Co: for the'price'of 2816.09
Chief Bartle~t discussed the, matter of obtaining'A radio
red.light and'siren for this' vehicle ou* of his ,budge~'
And it was voted ~o confur wi~h the Finance' Committee before
making ~ decision on this mAt~er.
A letter was received from Sherburne 0il Co, relative '%0 a shoal
condition off St, ~arf And asking if the Town could have
~his'corrected when the dredging ou~fi~ is her9 for the
Polpis and ~adAke~ work. As i~ appeared from informa%ion
~ hand ~ha~ this could not be done unless, the ~own had
'Available funds vo~ed by A To~ meeting no Action was taken'
on this ma~ter.
Mr. Harry Larrabee Jr. was granted a renewal of his Class II
used car dealers'license.
The annual Warrant for ~he Dog Officer was-received from the
Town Counsel and it was voted'~o instruc~ ~he Ch. ,to sign
. , same in behlf of ~he Board.
I% was v°~ed ~o authorize the Secy. to sign various licenses
' in the name of ~he Board after same have been approved
by ~he Board, as in the. past.
A'requesl;was r~ceived from the Red Men~lo place a sign over
Main Si. on 1 May and same was approved subject~to lheir
gelling clearance from the Tree Commission..
Mr. NathaU ThUrst0n was granled a' renewal 'of his 'soft drink lic.
at Sunny Acres Dairy Bar. ~.,.
A letier was received from Mr, C,'Caion relative ~o a new flag
and the painting of lhe flag pole at Caion Circle ~and
was voted to buy a flag ~nd lo ask lhe Highway dept. to
have ihe ~pole painted~,
