Killen, Mr. Welden'served as~Ch. Pro Tem.~: ~ ~inutes of the previous meeting were read'and approved. The Nantucket Theatre~w°rksh0p was granted,a permi~~ ~0 show motion pictures at'Dreamland Theatre on Feb.~ 16th and 23rd. Mrs Charles B. Flanagan of union St.~was~present"'andaSked,the Board as the Board of'~Health to look into the matter of '~a continuing order of gas~in their home'at Union St "Mrs Flanagan stated'that~they their plumber and the sewer dept. had exhausted all'known avenues,in an attempt to track this matter down but had been ~nsecsesBful.,The Board ad- vised that we would look into this matter. Mrs Jessie MurphY~W~S present and filed a petition requesting approval of the transfer of her wine and malk package , ,, '~oods Store license to'JosephlA. Cahoon Sr" and a change of location from its present,location to Main St. Siasonset, It',was voted that this matter take the course prescribed by A re¢'lue~t was r~'~i~ed from~Mr~ and Mrs'Ha~es ~equesting Street lights on Old South Rd. and same was filed with other requests for~lights for~later examination. Pole loc~tio~s on Bosto~'~Ave. ~nd Mro~t St. sia~¢0nset were received'from the Gas & ~lec. Co. and Tel'R Tel and A~notice was received from Arty Grace Henry advising~the Board · of the bequest made to the Town by Miss Blackburn and filed.' ,~, ~.~,::.~ Various letters we~e'~received protesting the article in the To~n warrant calling,for a parking area ~t the Ayers prop. on Orange St. and voted referred to the Minance Comm. The Ja~ed Coffin hoUse'Was.gran~ed a'renewal 0f/itS"~nnhooldrs license and also granted a~license for live music and dancing on ~eekdays only.
