Being present except Mr. Whelden:and Ch.'Killen; Ntt. Barrett
served as Ch. Pro tern.

19,665.93 we~ep=esen~ed by Town Acc~. Barrett and checked
and approved ~by ~he Board. ~
~(.~J;~ c~int6n AndrewS,' Mr; Nestor Richards, ,M~; George-Andrews
and Mr~ W.~ B. H. Snow of the Fishermens Asso.~ were present~
and discussed with the Board the matters of the continuance
~of an annual'Scallop survey and the/imporlance of moving
seed scallop.~ A general discussion was held on lhese matters
and..lhey suggested lhat seed~scallops*be~moved from~any''
~' areas where there~is'now no'grass,to'hold,them, inio-ddeper
grassy areas. Suggested thai the areas of Polpis and Pocomo
are areas in this catagory and suggested that any. seed in
theseS'areas in damger 0f wkshing ashore~be~ved~to east side~
of Polpis East harbor, pest house area and the middle ground.
A leiier~was received~'fro~ the ABCC/relatiV~ to an appeari by~
Charles Thomas and requesting 'that~ihe Board forward ihem~ ~
pertinent inf6rmation as~regar~s this a~plicalion. Voted
have the Secy. Comply 'with this request. '~
Pole locations on Surfside Road for ~the N.B.Tel & Te. were
approved, as~ well'as terminal box' locations:on Monomoy Rd.
'Mr. 'Roger A. Y0~ng was present and ~dvised ~he Board that he
planned to construct a bowling alley~of 8 lanes on his prop.
on Old'Souih'Rdj and"requeited that~the'Boar'd grant him a
license for this~,oPerati0n. On motion duly~made and seconded
ii was Voted to. approve a bowling~alley'license to Mr; Roger
Young at~ the' location of his. property on Old South Rd.
M~mbers~°f the Pishe~mens Asso. also suggested to !he Board
that the bag limit be 4 and 8
The Amer. Legf Post was granted a permit fo~ a ju~e box to op-
erated until 12 midnite on a trial basis.
There 'being no further business the Board went into executive
~session'and adji~at:9.15 PM. ·
