The meeting came to order at 8PM ail members ~of~he Board being

Warrant'No.' 24, totalling' $44'199.45 was,presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and appr0vea by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. and M~s Augustus Roche were present and conferred With the
Board relative to the proposal; of the Tel & Tel & Gas &
Elec. to put-a brace pole on the edge of their prop. on
'Cliff Road. Voted to write the Co. to see if the bracing
*of this'line could not be done in some other manner.
Mrs irving Stanley Operator of the'Eagle'~ahd Key on Cenier
met with the Board to discuss the matter of remaining
open until 1.30 AMino music after 1 ~I after 4iscussion .
it was voted to approve this request.
The 'following licenses and permits were approved:
'Grey.Gull-Common vici.; Wauwinet House dancing,.orchestra
and recorded music weekdays and recorded musi6 on sundays.
Thomas Sea Foods, Common Vici.; Nobadeer Rest Orchestra
· and recorded music; Jetties Beach Common vici. ice cream.
and soft drink. C~pn. Tobeys, piano and recorded music enl.
A lelter was received from Mrs. Albeit St~ckpole relative
selling sandwichss etc. al ihs Surfside beach area and
referred to the Park and Rec. Commission.'~
A letter was received from Gardner W. Russell relative to the
Water Co. eminent domain bill and filed.
'A'request was received from Mrs~Da~id Hall:requesting
-'. ~'shield be placed on the street lighl'on Cliff Rd. near
' ' Hinckley lane the Board felt that if'the light needed
to be shielded thai perhaps'it would be best if we removed
it altogelher and then the light would not bother anyone
: by'shining in their windows.'
On~ request of Chief Howes, Lennox Bodman, Charles Handy, Seddon
Legg Sr. and David Wilson were appointed Sp. police .

Fair marked No par~ing for two car lengts.
Their being no further business the board went into executive
session and adj. al 10 PM.
