The meeting~came to' order at 8.12
County Commissioners meeting all members of the Board being
present.
warrant No. 22, totalling $25,524.40 was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.and approved.
Mr. VinCent Arno was present and discussed with the Board the
.matter or-:the closing hour of 1.30 which had been set by
the Board'for his Main St. Rest. after discussion of the
matter no action was taken to change.the previous ruling.
Mr. Henry Garnett was Present and discussed With the Board
matters, relative to the flag at the Milestone area and
relative"to Vet. graves.
A notice was received frOm the Water Co.' advising that they,
would provide water at the circle at upper Main street
under a free account.
The Nantu~ket~community Orch was gra~¢ed approval to operate
a pops type concert at Bennett Hall and to sell food and
soft drink in connection therewith.
An appiication of the Mad Hatter for permission to employ a
female bar tender was received and voted approved, and also
for a renewal of their Sund.'Ent.':permit, also approved.
Dreamland Theatre applied for a renewal of its lic. to show
sound motion pictures on Sundays' and same wasapproved.
Vincent~Arno was'granted a renewal of his-Sunday Brit. Lic. for
recorded music. ,
Mrs Edwin Scully was granted a renewal of her Common ~ict. licens~
at the Blacksmith Shop.

Frank Burr dba Th'e RoPewalk was garanted a renewal of his lic.
for ~iano ent; on weekdays and 'Sundays.
The VFW was granted a permit for its Aux.' t0 hold a Poppy Day
,on 29 June,

was granted a renewa~ Of its Innholders Lic. at
~ Sias'conset Mass. ::-~
A letter was received from MrS Findlay at 10 Pleasant street-
relative to a no par$ing area'opposite here~drive~ay and
tabled u~til the Board has looked at the area.
Voted to establish the following regulations realtive to parking:
S. Water St. from Cam. to Main West~.side no parking.~
Ca,~ridge St. South side 10 min parking weekdays only. 10-6
S. Water St. from Oak to India W. side ½ hr parking 10-6
The following were appointed to the Comm. authorized'uner art 87
of the annual warrant: Allen Holdgate; Elliot whelden;
Elwyn Francis Sr.; Clinton Andrews; Waiter Barrett;
There being no further business the meeting adj. at 10 PM.
