Selectmens Meeting: 24 April 1963 ,; ,,
The meeting came to order at 7.30 PM ail members of the B6ard
being present.

Barrett'and checked and'approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bi~s were received under Art. 88 for Guest Mooring as follows:
Island Marine Set. Inc. --450.00
Alien Holdgate · 654.00
Mike Todd 699.49 Voted that same
be awarded the lowest bidder Island Marine Set. Inc.
.The Board 6n motion'duly made and seconded'voted that the ',
following positions in the Town (see list attached hereto
and made a part of theses records) be ,classified as Special
Town Employees under the new Conflict of Interest Law.
A 1.etter was received from Mr. Philip Heywood ~elative to
spraying and placed on file. ,,,
^ letter was received from M'r. Fred Smith advising that he had
been advised by the Fed. Ay. Auth. that he would not be
· able to serve on the Airport Comm. and tendering his
resignation from same. Said resignation was accepted with
An. 'application was received from blt. ~.~hur Davis s'ubmitting
his name for consideration for appointment' to the airport
Comm. and later in the meeting the Board after considering
the application of Mr. Davis as well as those previously
on file appointed Mr. Davis 'to the said Airport Comm. to
fill the vacancy caused~by the resignation of blt. Smith.
Mrs Eunice Haskell was granted a common vic~. iic~ dba Rainbow
An invitation was received from.the VFW.for the Board and their
wipes to attend their ,installation on Sat. May 4th. this
matter was left for the Board to later determine who could
attend.
The green Coffee pot' Inc. was granted a renewal of its recorded
,.music ent. license for~weekdays only.'
The White El~'phant Hotel was. granted an ent.<' permit week days
The following taxi license "renewals were approved:, Eugene Viera
Chester Barrett; Carlton ~est; J. H. Wood and Sons.
Mr. Devine,of the BoSton Mutual Ins. Co. which carries the Town
group life ins. ,program met with the Board and advised
that the new contrat would be written at a decrease of 05¢
per thousand the new rate to be 1.50,per~thousand.
There being no further business the Board went into executive
session and
