Warrant No.' 15,'t0talling $18,142.37 was~preSented by Town = Acct.~Barrett and checked and'approved by the Board.' Minutes of~the pre~vious meeting were read and'approved. Mr. John Blaser was present and requested that the Board mark a driveway at his..property on.Fair Street no parking so that he would be able to ~et in and out and same was Voted approved Mr. Henry Garnett was present:and discussed with the BOard the matter of the Vet. Gr~ves officer, and the.Board'read an opinion,from the Town Counsel that it could appoint anyone to this position so long as he was a resident~of the Town. Later in the meeting the Board appointed Mr. Garnett~to this position along with the position he already Molds of:caretaker of Town Cemetery lots. Bids,were ~eceived on the cutting,of brush at the Fire Dept. drill~field near-the dump as follows: Ralph Marble ...... 475.00 Walter GioWacki ...... 385.00 Art. 66 ¥oted that same be awarded the lowest bidder Glowacki. Bids on the, operning of Sesachacha Pond w~re'received from only one bidder Kenneth C. Coffin in the amount of $200.00,and voted'approved work to be done under the Supervision of the Shellfish Warden. Bids on equipment for the Mosquito control Dept were received Art. 76 as follows: ., ~ . Abbott Spray~and Mach; Co. Brush cutter .... '-248.35 Stainless steel sprayers 49.50 each for two --- 99.00 Voted that same be awarde~ this Co. as bid. Bids on installing pipe in a secii0n o'~ Gardner Road for Mosquito Att 76 Control drainage were received from 0nly one bidder Walter Glowacki in the amount of 750,00 and voted approved.- Art 99 Bids on rescue equipment for the C. D..dept. were received from only one,~,bidder Cbs. Clougherty Co..ia follows: Resuscitator 316.00 Rescue kit 155.00 Hand voted approved. , Mr. Ro~ers of Blue Cross and Shield was.present and discussed the the Board the matter of the Hospitilization and Med. insurance contracts for the coming,year,~advised that the rate would increase from 5.49 to 5.64 ~or individual and 15.85-to.16.25 for a family member,~the town paying half 'of this monthly premium. The matter of increasing the,benefit from,.15.00 to 18.00 per day for HosPital room was discussed and Mr. Rogers advised that this would cost 6.02 for a single member and 17.35 for a family member.~.The Board took this matter under advisement at this time and Mr. Rogers advised that he would discuss this matter with,the Town Treasurer and would write the Board a letter on same. The Board signed the Warrant for the Dog 'Officer and Voted to adv, that all dogs be restrained from running at large from 15 April to 15 Sept. 1963. A lette~ was received from the Boy Scouts inviting ,the Boa~d'' to att(~nd a court of. honor~.',at Cyrus Pierce School on Apr. 24th at 7.30 PM as this is the Board regular,meeting night, -the Board found it impossible to accept this invite. Flanagan and James Hatings for duty at Dreamland theatre and Lennox Bodman for Gen. duty. all having been approved by Chief Howes. A letter was received from Atty. Gardnsk Russell advising that, he represented Mr, and Mrs Gordon Folger in the matter of the laying out of N, Street so called and filed. Voted to adv. for bids under Art~ 88 for new guest moorings'Same to be in by next meeting. " There being no further business the Board went into executive session and adj. at 10 PM. '~ James K.
