The meeting came~to'order'at,~7.30'PM having .been preceeded
by the ~regular monthly meeting'as Mosquito Commissioners.
all members'of the Board being present.
Acc~. Barrett and checked and approved~by,the Board.

voted to 'adV. for bids'on Mosquit~'~0ntr~l 'd~inage pipe
~installation on Gardner Rd. same ,to be ~in by nex~ week.
Voted ~o adv. for bids for ~the opening of~Sesacha~ha Pond
same'to be in by next week.
Mrs Donald Allen was present, and conferred with the Board
relative.to the new layout.of~Hooper ~arm Rd. and it was
agred that we would alter the tenative;layout so that
we would only be ta~ing a 10 ftt.-strip of her property
rather than 30 feet .....
Bids on Fire Hose and equipment 'for th~ ~ir$ 'dept. were received
from Cbs. Clougherty and American Fire Equipment Co. as
follows:,Amer Fire 2801.05; Cbs Clougherty Co.

Only' one bid was received from the veh. for the Fire Dept,
Chief Car as follows: Albert 1, Silva Inc. bid'2a00.00
for,~a vehicle with certain deletions fro~ the specifications
as this was the total amount of moner available the Board'
'voted to.have the Fire Chief go over the vehicle as offered
by Silva Inc. and if suitable so advise and we would purchas,
said vehicle' The Chief subsequently'advised that same was
OK and .bid was awarded to Albert L. Silva Inc.
Voted to refer to th'e Town Counsel for, action the 'article
the annual warrant calling for a taking of land for Dump
purposes.
Voted to;ad~' fo~ bids for the cutting"0f {rush at the Fire
Dept. Drill Field near the dump, the chief to flag the
,area to be cut, bids to be in by next meeting.
Voted to give the Fire Dept. the use of, the bldg. at quidnet
to use at the drill field, the chief to advise as to moving
etc. '~,

Planned. Piaytime was .urhorized to hold the well child cllnic
as in the past, on'April 30th and 1 May.
Nanthan~and Helen ThurSton were granted a renewal of their soft dring license at Sunn~ Acres Dairy.
One bid was received from the Interstate Fire Works Co. of
springfiedl Mass, outlining what it would propese for the
amount of $1500.00 dollars-and voted to accept same and.,
to further ask the Legion Post if they would as in the past
supervise this operation and act as traffic control.
Firewords display to be at the Jetties Beach on the 4th
July.
