The meeting came to,order,as Selectmen ,at ?.'45 pM'havi~g'lst
~ been predeeded by,a county commissioners meeting, all
members of the board being present~'

Barrel,-and checked and approved by~ ~he Board.
Minutes :'
of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Pole locations o~ 'B'~te~ Rd. and Bayberry lane siasc~nset were
approvediby the Board.
A letter was ~eceived from Walter C.' Knott advising that he Would
not be a candidate fo~'re-appointment to the Finance Comm.
and it was ,voted to send Mr.' Knott a'lette~ of,appreciation
,, for his service on this committee.
The Board Was in receipt of,.a renewal of the revocable license
f~om the U.S.Coast Guard covering the right of way to the
'Brant Pt. area and same was signed by the Board.
Shellfish Warden Prancis was present and asked the B0a~d appr0val
of his attending the Shelfish wardens 'conv., at Boston on
March 21st and22nd and same was voted approved. ~. F~ancis
also discussed with the Board his plans fo~.moving scallop
seed later in the spring. -
A lette~ was ~e~eived f~om the town of Dartmouth advising of their
300th Aniv. Celebratoion in 1964 and inviting the Board to
be present..
Voted t° open ,the Hummock and Miacomet p~nds w0rk~ 'to be done by
the Mosquito Control' equipment and personnell.
Voted to adv. for' applications for town and county appointive jobs
to be in by Wed. Ma~ch 20th.
Voted to' adv. for bulldozing bids for the town and,sconset dumps
to be,in by next Wed. 'the 13th.
A letter ,was ~eceived from' the Sh~Vkem0' Ch. ~ch.. SOc. 'thanking
.the Board for the use'of the Sanford House rooms and advising
,that they had new,q~arters at the 'Maria Mitchell Library.,
The matter' of. unpaid bills of the fire dept. appearing ~n the
weekly warrant was discussed and Mr. Whelden was appointed
a committee of one to look into this matter to determine the
cause. ' :., ',
:There not being, any further business the Board went'into executive
