The meeting came to order at' 7.30 PM all members of the Board
being present except Mr. Desrocher
Warrant No. 3 totalling $25,142.04 was~presen~ed by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by,,the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were.read and approved.
Mr. Kent K. King was granted a renewal oF his Innhilders Lic~
dba The Moorings ~aston St. Town.
A letter,was received from Rep. Desrocher advising that it would
be necessary for the Board to~adv.~a form notice in Re: the
matter of,the bill to take the Water Co. before'same could
be entered in the Leg. and enclosing the necessary form,
voted that same be adv. as requested.
Secy. Glidden advised that bids had been received and Opened
on Monday relative'to the printing~of the warrants for the
annual Town meeting from the two local papers as follows:
Town Crier ---97.00 Inq. & Mirror 126.00 and that same had
been awarded the lowest bidder as per the Boards instructions,
Secy. Glldden advised that he had been corresponding with Sen.
Saltonstall and a Mr. Richardson Thompson, Reg. Dir. of~
Community. Facilities with reference to Federal funds for the
Town and County office bldg. and that it, appeared ~that.Fed.'
Punds were available under the accelerated public ~orks ' -
program for areas which had been designated as areas of,
-, substantial unemployment by the Dept. of Commerce, and that
he was followlng this matter up for further information.
There being no further business'the Board went into executive
session and adj. at 8.45 PM.
