The mee~ihg came to'Order at 8.10 PM. having been.Preceeded by
a county Commissioners meeting; all members of the Board
being 'present except Mr. Desrocher.
Warrant Noi 1, totaliing $27,886.85 was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and app'roved.~
Shellfish Warden Francis was present and advised the Board that
he and Selectmen Meilbye had looked at the Coots area in
Madaket and that it was their opinion that we ..take no action
as £egards shutting off this area at this time and that we
leave same open until ' 1 March to see what happens and ig
was so voted.

M~. Douglas B. 'Lawrence Was present and d~scusSed with the Boa~d
h~s contract ~s regards wo~k at Our Island Home ~n v~ew o6
the bad weather that occurred. He advised that he was working
at same evez~ workable da~ and that he estimated that he had
lo~t 14 da~s because o~ the weather. The Bo~rd stated that
the~ were in s~mpath~ w~th his posit~on.
~slanJ Mtrs Inc. was granted a zenewal o~ its Ciass I u~ed car ~
dealers license.
~. Deun~s Dias was ~zanted a renewal o~ h~s Common V~ct.
Ice Cream and Juke box l~cense at the Log Cabin Dine aud

A lette= ~as received ~om the U.S. Coast Gu~d advising~that
the lease on the access azea at Brant Point was expizing
and asking i~ we desired to zenew ~ame. Voted to advise
that we desired to renew same.
The Nant.' Grange was granted a ~ermit to hold a danee at the
G~ange Hall on ~eb. 8th Fzom 8 to 12.
Theze being- no ~urthez business the Boazd went ~nto executive
session a~d adj. at 9.30 ~.
Executive Sessiou:
The application of Mrs Jos. ~imxmx{~zxm Rezendes for admissi,
to OUr Island Home on a paying basis was voted approved.
